1. Purpose

GroveXC is committed to preventing the use of its crypto exchange services for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illicit activity. This policy sets out the principles applied to customer onboarding and ongoing activity.

2. Regulatory status

Services are provided by DIRE MONEY TRANSMITTER LLC, registered with FinCEN as a Money Services Business (#31000295099665), listed under NMLS Profile ID 2376963, and holding Washington Money Transmitter License #550-MT-147183.

3. Customer verification

Before eligible customers may proceed, GroveXC applies customer identification and verification procedures. We may request identity documentation and additional information to confirm eligibility.

  • Identity verification for new customers.
  • Ongoing review of activity consistent with expected use.
  • Additional checks where risk indicators are present.

4. Monitoring

Transactions may be monitored for patterns inconsistent with lawful use. GroveXC may request the source of funds or purpose of a transaction and may decline, pause, or report activity as required by law.

5. Reporting and recordkeeping

GroveXC maintains records and files reports with relevant authorities as required by applicable law and regulation, including suspicious activity reporting where appropriate.

6. Sanctions

GroveXC screens against applicable sanctions lists and does not knowingly provide services to sanctioned persons or prohibited jurisdictions.
